Therm-X Innovation through Technology

The Therm-X combines cold, heat, contrast, and compression therapy, in one easily portable machine.

No Ice Required. The Therm-X does not need to stay cool. It uses a special  coolant that allows the Therm-X to get colder and stay colder.


Thermal Technology. Using proprietary thermoelectric technology, the Therm-X can provide digitally controlled heating or cooling, along with contrast and compression.


Low Maintenance. The Therm-X does not require constant refilling with ice, or emptying and cleaning the tank. The Therm-X coolant stays in the machine to keep the tank and lines clean.


We Don't Melt. Ice melts over time as ice-based machines pass water over the warm patient. The Therm-X can set a specific cycle temperature and maintain that same temperature for as many treatment cycles required.


You Control It. The Therm-X has a wide variety of treatment presets for temperature, compression, and treatment time. If you don't like presets, the control can be in your hands with customizable cycles.


Smaller Is Better. The Therm-X was born portable, weighing only 14 lbs and fitting in a convenient travel case. It can travel with an athlete or be carried from therapy room to patient room.

Therm-X AT

The Therm-X AT combines cold, heat, contrast, and compression therapy, in one easily portable machine.  Designed for use in Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, the Therm-X is intended to treat post-surgical and acute injuries to reduce edema, swelling, and pain.  The Therm-X is a flexible tool with digital accuracy, when localized thermal therapy (Heat or Cold) is indicated.

The temperature you want is the temperature you get. With digital control, you can set a specific temperature and repeat it cycle after cycle, unlike Ice Machines that lose their cool as the ice melts.

Aside from compression’s clinical benefits, compression enhances thermal transfer. The Therm-X has three compression settings that ensure the Garment’s thermal zone stays in contact with the patient to deliver therapeutic temperatures.

Therm-X HOME

Get your patients colder faster with the most effective cold compression product on the market. The Therm-X can deliver single cycle temperatures as cold as 34 degrees (as cold as any ice machine). If continuous cold is needed the Therm-X can be set to 40 degrees, colder than any of it’s thermoelectric competitors.

The Therm-X allows for either intermittent compression, or static if you are looking for a more intense edema reduction. A password can be engaged to prevent the patient from changing protocol settings.

DVT for HOME


  • DVT Garments are for use only with the HOME machine. 
  • The DVT Garments allow convenient patient treatment in a healthcare facility or at home when the doctor feels DVT prophylaxis is required.

FUNCTION


  • The Therm-X DVT Garments are designed to reduce the risk of the formation of deep vein thrombosis (DVT). They accomplish this by aiding blood flow back to the heart via lower extremity limb compression.

  • They can be used in conjunction with the Standard THERM-X Garments, or by themselves. 
  • The garments have been developed with a broad size range to accommodate a wide range of patients.
